I wrote to my 7th grade English teacher, who strongly supported me in my desire to write. It was wonderful to hear back from him.

In response to your question, I do keep scanned copies of all my letters and have a box where I keep the dozens (I feel so blessed!) of replies I've received. They really do make up a great written history that I feel very lucky to have.

Best wishes to you and for your continued correspondence with your teacher.

Blessings,

LynnLynn, the letterwriterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08310733334651793130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-484329837372074461.post-29362101358514838302010-12-27T19:44:05.050-06:002010-12-27T19:44:05.050-06:00I'm so inspired. A few years ago I wrote to my 7th grade math teacher who loved George Rogers Clark and Indiana history as much as I did. When I was twelve he told me about a movie called Friendly Persuasion. I finally got to see it 20 years later. I wrote a letter to him to tell him I'd finally seen it. We've been writing ever since. I love the idea of a letter jar. Tell me, do you keep copies of the letters you've written and keep the responses with them?

sewcrazy@tds.netRookie Bebehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04163551960786415059noreply@blogger.com
